Making secret messages with crayons and paint is a fun science activity for kids. Little ones will enjoy practicing their writing skills, as well as painting and playing a guessing game with the words they write or pictures that they draw.

If the children are really small, an adult can draw the picture or messages on paper, and the children can then take the secret drawing and paint over it to reveal it! It will be just like magic for them and a great way to spend a rainy afternoon. It can also be a delightful birthday party activity.
