Making paper dot Easter Eggs is a fun and easy children’s craft that will keep the kids busy for a while. Do you have one of those three-hole paper punches in the drawer stuffed to the top with paper dots? Don’t empty it quite yet! It’s time to put the creative recycling thinking cap on and find a good use for the dots before they get discarded.
The paper dots can be used like glitter to embellish cards, decorate picture frames, and yes, even coat styrofoam Easter eggs. With a few simple craft items that you probably have on hand, create an Easter activity workstation for your young children and make some paper dot Easter eggs for decorations and gifts this Easter season!
What you will need for paper dot Easter eggs:
- Leftover paper dots from a hole punch, different colors
- liquid glue
- cotton swab or small craft paintbrush
- styrofoam eggs (found easily at any local craft shop or online)
- wax paper or parchment to line the work surface/table
- Spray shellac, optional
How to make paper dot Easter eggs:
- Spread paper dots on the lined work surface.
- Swab or paint liquid glue onto styrofoam Easter egg.
- Roll Easter egg in the paper dots to coat.
- Spray finished Easter egg with craft shellac, if desired.

Working with your child on educational math games is very important. You can reinforce math concepts throughout your day easily. I think this site is terrific!
The quality of the info is what keeps me on this site, thanks!
